  1. Id like to write an article about how Americans can show compassion and support to soldiers and their families. Most Americans have no idea of the struggles and concerns of the military and their loved ones. Understanding and compassionate interactions can help ease the pain military famlies often experience when they have a deployed loved one.

  2. I’d love to contribute.

  3. Sir or Ma’am,
I’d like to contribute my concerns and ideas for the some of the struggles that Reservists face after deployment. For instance when Reservists return from deployment they are eligible for 90 days of unpaid leave where they don’t have to report to their unit. I believe this is the time when SMs are most vulnerable to drunk driving, drugs, and a sense of uselessness. Reservists are often left without the suppport that they need when returning home not because it does not exist but because they do not know where to find it. Also, unemployment is a huge one. In this economy no one is immune but imagine being a Reservist with a college degree having served your country and still be serving part time and not being able to find any meaningful work. There are Veteran’s commissions, VetCentral and a host of employment sites out there but there something is missing.

  4. Hi,
Do you have a set of writer’s guidelines? That would help a lot. Take a look at my blog(s)–if you’d like an article from me, I can do it.

  5. hi,
there are so many things that have been going on lately. My biggest concern is the suiced rates after deployments suffering from PTSD that no one knew of. Cause they dont show any obviouse signs of it. I think the goverment in this case i can only speak of army is not following thru with some kinda serious evalutation on PTSD. When they get home off of the plane before they return back to theyre family all they get is a de briefing and thats it. I think theyre should be some kind of serious evaluation after they come home and not just a little de briefing of telling them what signs they have to watch out for that is PTSD. It’s already hard enough for a wife, mother or your children to loose theyre dad, son or husband in iraq but having them end their life while back home cause no one realized theyre problem or they havent followed up on anything
im sorry the goverment is not doing enough for everyone that needs the proper help. This is just a little thought i have and im really concernd about and i hope that i dont or didnt offend anyone
